Triumph GT6 - modern test-drive the old-fashioned handsome
The purpose for which it was designed is that Triumph needed a four-cylinder twin for the Spitfire. But as soon as first samples were made, the engineers saw that the roadster was slightly faster that the coupe. So what did they do? They found out that it was possible to fit the 2000 and Vitesse's straight-six engine. The GT6 received an excellent reputation of being nice in a straight line, but in corners he did not get such recognition. After the first version, Triumph had also manufactured the renewed versions: MK1, MK2 and MK3.
