Maybach Landaulet - it's no need to compare
When it was first launched the 2009 Maybach Landaulet was regarded as a concept version, and it was launched at the Dubai auto show. Later on, Maybach decided to go for production, and the production version was announced soon after. This Landaulet is like a four-door convertible and it is priced at $1.35 million.
It is said that Maybach made this car especially for those who love to have something extraordinary and enjoys to be driven in a huge chauffeur driver car. Hence, the Landaulet is designed as a chauffeur-driven limousine. The ultimate luxurious feature is the soft partial convertible top above the rear passenger seat. It opens from the B-pillar towards the back so that the rear seat passengers can enjoy the sunshine, and they can be seen.
The car however retained the old designs of rear doors and side windows that you can find in other models of Maybach. In the driver’s compartment, you would find a non-removable hard top. The Landaulets will be fitted with glass panels so that the driver and the passengers can be separated as it used to happen in earlier cars.
