A vintage treasure of Volkswagen Beetle
Volkswagen is a German based company famed as being the common man’s high quality car. They started in 1937 and ever since have moved to luxury cars but the class Volkswagen Beetle remains a classic in the industry. Even Hitler was a lover of this car. It was last manufactured in 2003.
The car boasted of a boxer engine with air-cooled four cylinders, a rear wheel drive and a rear locator. It provided excellent luggage storage under the front bonnet and behind the rear seat. It had the classic split window model with mechanical direction indicators. The overall shape of the Beetle is what gives it its most distinguishing feature – take VW Beetle Convertible R-Line, for instance.
Beetles have now become collectibles and not to mention their easy to love model makes it a favorite amongst people who refuse to go beyond the retro era when it comes to their car. Beetles came in a wide range of color which is why now they are considered as vintage cars.
